Using forms, custom templates and slump molds we will explore the ABC’s of making plates, bowls, mugs with slabs! Instruction will also be given on surface techniques, such as sgraffito, underglaze transfers and stencils. This is a structured class. (You may create other slab-built ceramics after the basic lessons are completed.) Beginners and those with experience are welcome. (Not a wheel throwing class).
Price includes 25lbs. of clay, glazes (including our own unique studio glazes) and firing. (Additional clay is available for purchase for $20/25lbs.) 1 make up class are allowed per session.

Refund policy: Class credit for classes cancelled by the teacher. Class credit for illness, family emergency or extenuating circumstances can be discussed with the teacher. Make up classes (2 per session) will be arranged based on teacher & studio availability.
